I like the look of this mod. It is true that they all look very similar, but I do like the box mod design with rounded edges and big, colorful screen. The elongated fire bar on the side is very easy to use and, in my opinion, adds to the comfort level. Another thing that you might like is that the Innokin Proton mod is about the most compact dual 18650 vape mod that I have seen.

Innokin is a company that has been involved in vapor products since the very beginning. In the early days, Innokin made classic KR808D cigalikes! Then they made a number of early mods. We will get into the Innokin Proton Plex review asap but first, a little background. As mentioned, the Proton mod has been out for a few months. This new version comes with a new tank, but is the same mod. That is good news because after the last four months we can report that the Proton vape mod is a proven performer. In fact, it is an outstanding vape mod. That is the good news! The Proton Plex comes in three new and very attractive colors.

• Black and Blue
• Black and Red

All of these colors look amazing. I especially like the white one. The large color screen looks fantastic. I know, I am talking all about looks. Normally, I don’t care much about looks, but the Proton Plex really got my attention. My Innokin Proton Plex review will get into how it vapes. But first, what does this mod do?

Brass tacks. This is a 235 watt, dual 18650 mod controlled by the Aethon chipset. Now, we know a lot about this chipset. It has been tried tested and true. My favorite thing about it is the ease of accessing the menu system. It fires plenty fast and is very stable and reliable in temperature control. It may not be the fastest, but I am telling you there is no lag from fire button to atomizer action. The chipset earns top marks.

Using The Innokin Proton Plex Mod Kit

The first thing to do when using the Innokin Proton Plex mod is to put in the batteries! The battery door is located on the bottom of the device. The battery door is easy to open and close. Once the batteries are in, there are no rattles as everything fits nice and tight. Three clicks of the fire bar will turn on the mod.

In this case, the full color screen is used beautifully to assist in navigation. It is not color just for the sake of color. The variations help you see what you are adjusting.By the way, when making adjustments the joystick is simply terrific. The joystick can be used to access a number of menu shortcuts. And look, what I really like is that Innokin includes a quick reference guide to help the user navigate all of the options so quickly and easily.

The mod works beautifully and is very comfortable to handle. Daniel at DJS Vape Labs says it is one of his favorite mods. He did a bunch of electronic testing and found it to be very accurate. And the vaping is awesome. The mod fires fast and I get a very, very consistent vaping experience.

Innokin Plex Vape Tank Review

Time for the Innokin Plex vape tank review. I love this tank. If you are familiar with the Innokin Scion tank, the Plex and Scion coils are interchangeable. But I have found that the new Plex coils are better. They are very long lasting and the flavor is outstanding. The sliding top fill is one of the best. The juice port is big enough for a glass dropper. The tank is very well made and has a bubble tank to accommodate the very large coils.

The Plexus Scion coils are a mesh coil. Mesh coils are here to stay and for good reason. They deliver of flavor big time and they last longer than other types of coils. Plexus coils are rated at 0.13 ohms and they promise to be extra long lasting. These coils are huge! Great flavor.
