Geekvape Aegis Solo Review

We got a new one! The Geekvape Aegis Solo review follows on the previous version of the Aegis vape mod. What makes this one different? I will tell you right after you buy some Freeman Vape Juice. Just kidding! But seriously, you should get some Freeman Vape Juice because it is truly awesome. Like a possum. Back to the Aegis Solo.

The Geekvape Aegis Solo is a single 18650 mod that is capable of up to 100 watts. That's the difference here. The new AS chipset increases efficiency to the point that the device can put out 100 watts. Most single 18650 mods top out at 75 watts or 80 watts. But technology marches on and the Aegis Solo is a mini powerhouse.

Along with being able to deliver substantial power, The Geekvape Aegis Solo comes with all of the same indestructible traits of its predecessors. I am talking about the Geekvape Aegis Legend and the Geekvape Aegis Mini. To brilliant and beautiful mods that I personally own and love. In case you haven't heard, let me tell you a little about the history of this device.

Geekvape Aegis Indestructible Vape Mods

The first Geekvape Aegis came out in 2017 and it was a smash hit. Many rated it as the best vape mod. The reason why is because of the super fast and stable AS chipset. In addition, the mod is virtually indestructible. The Aegis is rated shockproof, dust proof, and water proof. When you feel an Aegis in your hand you will believe it. The shockproof rating is based on military shock rating standards. As are the dustproof and water proof ratings. The construction is amazing and yet the Aegis mods are not heavy. All of the Aegis mods are very comfortable.

It all started with the original Aegis. That was followed up by the Legend, which is a 200 watt dual 18650 mod. Then you may have read our Geekvape Aegis Mini review. That came out in late 2018. The Mini is a beauty, all of the durability of the Aegis in a small, portable package. The Mini is similar in size, as you will see here in our Geekvape Aegis Solo review.

The size is important to note. The Solo is the same size as the Mini. But while the Mini had an internal battery and topped out at 80 Watts, the Solo takes an 18650 and is capable of 100 watts.
